Toledo Public Library
Since
its opening in 1940, this unique and historic building has been a cornerstone
of downtown Toledo. It has also been a monument to the foresight of its
planners, adjusting to the countless changes in the community's needs
right up to the rapid development of electronic resources.
Main Library offers more than a nationally respected collection.
It is considered an architectural jewel throughout Ohio, presenting the
best local example of Art Deco or modernistic style on a massive scale.
